This blog is a place for me to share beautiful, well-designed things. By things I mean anything that catches my eye within a wide range of interests - art and architecture, fashion and jewelry, typography, useful household items, interior design, landscape design, photography... you get the idea.

history of typography
Take 5 minutes and watch this video by Ben Barrett-Forrest. It is superb. Cut paper animation! The history of typography! What's not to love?

february?
I have no idea how it is already February 6th. But it is. Which puts us 8 days away from Valentine's day. Some people think it's corporate nonsense, other people think it's irritating and couply. I think it's nice to have an excuse to say "I love you!" And to do it with paper? Even better.
I bought this kit from Paper Source to use with my daughter. Did you know that exchanging valentines now starts in preschool? The kids have no idea what's going on but I'm on board if I get to help her glue hearts and sparkly things onto paper.
FUN!

pretty recycling
I love the Paper Source blog even though I can't imagine ever having enough time to make any of the beautiful things they post about. Still, it's a source of inspiration. And a pretty one at that.

These hearts are made from recycled Paper Source catalogs.
