greeting cards

Check out these empathy cards by Emily McDowell. She is a cancer survivor who was inspired to create cards with these spot-on messages. They are honest, funny, and sometimes heartbreaking. Perfect for anyone going through a very hard time.

They're beautiful and I adore the hand-made feel. You can buy them from her website and be sure to check out her other gorgeous items!

announcements

I have a new favorite company to order great cards and announcements from. Tiny Prints. Whenever I have received an awesomely designed birth announcement or christmas card in the past few years I have noticed that they all came from Tiny Prints! So this year I ordered our Christmas card through them and below is a mock-up of our newly ordered baby announcement!

They have amazing designs and allow for a lot of customization. The typography and color options are always top-notch. Until I have the time to devote to designing my own announcements and cards (maybe when my kids are in college) I am happy to use Tiny Prints instead.

greeting cards

I have such a hard time finding nice greeting cards. Mostly because I live within 2 blocks of 3 major pharmacy chains but Paper Source is a mile away (and kind of expensive, let's be honest). I was pleasantly surprised today when I went to CVS to find that they have re-organized their cards. They have a much nicer selection and they have quarantined the singing variety. It took me less than 5 minutes to find 2 nice birthday cards and a nice (and not white!) wedding card.

Hooray!
